04/24/2008 TravCom CS and ClientMajic Version 10 Released!
TravCom CS and ClientMajic are the latest major releases of our premiere back-office and mid-office CRM products. Both products offer a wide variety of new functionality, including something for everyone. The many new features were designed to increase productivity, tighten security, and provide better overall functionality for both front and back office.

Current subscribers can take advantage of this free upgrade to immediately benefit from all of the new features. Please see below for a list of some of these major enhancements. TravCom CS New and Enhanced Features

New Feature – Branch Groups
Branches can be assigned to different user-defined groups. A complete group can then be selected for consolidation on reports and queries.

New Feature – Pending Payments
Payments from the interface can be set up to be flagged as pending. These payments will not be completely posted to the system until an authorized user reviews the payments and posts them.

New Feature – Default Divisions
Default divisions can be defined to individual clients and agents. Whenever sales are posted manually or through the interface it will default to the defined division, unless it is overridden.

New Feature – Word Processor
A built-in, full featured word processor is included, complete with mail merge capabilities. Letters can be easily created and printed or emailed directly to clients. Documents can be opened and saved in a variety of formats, including Microsoft Word, Rich Text, regular text, and HTML.

New Feature – Report Writer
A new, easy to use report writer program is included, allowing users to create and print their own custom reports. Reports can also be exported in a variety of formats including Microsoft Excel and HTML.

New Feature – GEMS v6.5 Export
Data can be exported in GEMS v6.5 format. Clients can be defined with individual reporting fields to be exported in the COD files.

Enhanced Feature – User Security
User accounts and passwords have been enhanced as follows:

·  User passwords are now encrypted using a strong DES algorithm

·  There is an option to set the minimum password length

·  There is an option to force strong passwords, where passwords must contain a combination of 3 of the following 4 conditions: upper case characters, lower case characters, numbers, and/or non-alpha/numeric characters.

·  There is an option to force users to change their password every x number of days

·  There is an option to force users to change their password on the next login

·  There is an option to require users to enter new passwords that are different than the last 4 passwords used

·  There is an option to lock users out of the system after x number of failed login attempts

·  Locked out users can only be reset by a system administrator

Tools are provided to assist your agency in becoming PCI compliant with TravCom. Please see the following white paper on PCI compliancy.

Enhanced Feature – Message Center Reminders
Reminders can be set up in the Message Center to display a popup balloon at a user-defined time prior to when the message is due.

Enhanced Feature – Creating HTML Formatted Emails
HTML formatted emails can be created directly within the email utility. Formatted emails can also be saved and opened again at a later time.

Enhanced Feature – Mail Merging to Emails
Letters created in the word processor can be created from a mail merge file and then sent directly to email. Each recipient of the email will then receive their own personalized formatted email.

Enhanced Feature – Automatic Creation of Mailer Message to Clients
When emails are sent from a query or mail merged word processor document a message can be created in the Message Center automatically. Messages will be created as a Mailer message and the subtype, subject, and message body can be user defined. The default subject and message body will be that of the email that is being sent.

Enhanced Feature – Automatically Schedule Email from Profile Query
Queries that have been created and saved in Profile Query can be scheduled to be automatically sent. For example, you can create and save a query showing all clients with an upcoming birthday. You can then schedule that query to be sent at the beginning of the month for all clients with a birthday in that month.

Enhanced Feature – Processing Email Addresses from the Interface
When a PNR is received through the interface any email addresses in the PNR will be saved and set as the default for emailing the invoice.

Enhanced Feature – Create Generic Reconciliation Files
The Cash Receipts Reconciliation function can now import files that are formatted based on a generic format.

Enhanced Features – Enabling/Disabling Marketing Categories and Groups
Marketing categories and marketing codes can be enabled or disabled based on the profile type. You can disable users from assigning specific marketing categories or codes to new or existing profiles based on the account type without having to delete the category or code. However, you will still be able to run queries based on these disabled categories or codes.

Enhanced Feature – User Permissions
Individual users can be given permissions to allow or disallow editing, refunding, or voiding of sales in Sales Posting. Furthermore, individual permissions can be given to users to allow or disallow the voiding of checks or cash receipts.

ClientMajic New and Enhanced Features

New Feature – eTrip
The all new eTrip module allows agents to create and maintain client bookings. The bookings can be compiled from various sources, including the GDS, web bookings, or manually entered, and then merged into a single consolidated booking. With eTrip you can also manage deposits and set reminders. When deposits are due then an invoice can be created and the information is then posted directly into TravCom CS.

New Feature – Booking Wizard
With the all new Booking Wizard you can easily transfer booking information into a web booking record, such as passenger information , addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and payment details. When the web booking is completed then the Booking Wizard will pull the details from the web booking into a new or existing eTrip record.

New Feature – Caller ID support
When a call comes in from a client and the number is recognized from a ClientMajic profile then a popup balloon will be displayed notifying the user of who is calling. With a click on the popup balloon you will immediately have all of the client’s details displayed in front of you. This feature will only work if you have a voice capable modem on the computer.

New Feature – Skype support
Subscribers to Skype will be able to “dial” a phone number directly from ClientMajic. Any client or passenger profile with a phone number can be automatically dialed.
